For many folks, the process of getting pregnant requires more planning, assistance, or support. My fertility care includes guidance and exploration of conception options, fertility awareness and cycle tracking, support in determining optimal conception timing, holistic herbal support for fertility, and at-home IUI (insemination) services.

I provide gender affirming conception care to LGBTQ+ folks and solo-parents by choice, and specialize in working with folks with previous losses, endometriosis, and trans folks.

Our Services

  • Preconception + Fertility Care

    In the initial preconception appointment, you’ll meet with me for 1.5 hours. We will review your medical history, investigate and understand your ovulation cycles, and work together to create an individualized plan to optimize your fertility. I provide guidance on navigating known sperm donors and sperm clinics, fertile signs, and support you to optimize timing for conception, including making a plan for home IUI. I use herbs, nutrition, lifestyle, and ritual recommendations to support clients looking to become pregnant, and work with fertility as one of the vital forces of the human body.

  • Home IUI (Intrauterine Insemination)

    I is a safe and simple procedure that can happen at any time of day or night in the comfort of your own home. Washed sperm (fresh or frozen) is placed in the uterus to achieve pregnancy. A thin catheter (tube) is placed through the cervix into the uterus, and the sperm are placed directly inside so they can travel quickly to the fallopian tubes to fertilize the egg. Studies show that when conceiving with frozen sperm, intrauterine insemination (IUI) doubles your chances of conception.

    With me, at home IUIs are done with embodied consent and midwifery-style care. For many of us, it is important to be as comfortable, safe, and in our power as possible as we engage in the process of becoming pregnant. Your comfort and autonomy are top priority. IUIs take place in the privacy and comfort of your home, with gentle and respectful care. This event can be whatever you’d like: romantic, silly, quiet, spiritual, celebratory, etc.

    An initial preconception visit is required to utilize home IUI services with Tessa.

Preconception + IUI Package

Initial preconception and fertility counseling, plus home IUIs. We’ll work together to create an individualized plan to optimize your fertility and IUI timing. Then, I am on call to provide home insemination when your fertile signs are at their peak.

Home IUIs

I provide home intrauterine insemination (IUI). Washed or frozen sperm is placed in the uterus with a thin tube (catheter) to achieve pregnancy. Timing is one of the most important elements of conception; insemination is most effective within 12 hours of ovulation. I am on-call for inseminations each cycle to optimize your chances of pregnancy.
